I am a doctoral researcher at the University of Bonn within the funded DRIVE Project – Data-driven and genome-edited breeding of locally-adapted wheat varieties to enhance agricultural biodiversity, sustainable climate resilience, and resource efficiency. My research focuses on integrating data-driven crop modeling, high-throughput phenotyping, and AI-assisted genomic prediction to support the development of climate-resilient and resource-efficient wheat varieties.

With a background in soil biology, biotechnology, and plant–microbe interactions, my interests lie in bridging crop physiology, modeling, and computational methods to understand plant responses under abiotic and biotic stresses.

DRIVE – Data-driven and genome-edited breeding of locally-adapted wheat varieties

•    Developing crop modeling routines to support breeding of site-adapted wheat varieties.
•    Analyzing high-throughput phenotyping data to detect growth, drought, and heat stress responses.
•    Calibrating and validating models to simulate crop responses under future climate scenarios.
•    Integrating crop model outputs with AI-based genomic predictions for trait selection.
