Research profile

My research focuses on using data from established and new remote sensing techniques in combination with modelling approaches for ecological applications. Specifically, I am interested in the use of non-invasive sensor techniques to study the impact of global change on natural and managed ecosystem processes and biodiversity, improve the identification of phenotypes in crop production systems and corresponding model approaches and to improve the modelling of photosynthesis and the quantification of the components of the energy balance at different spatial scales.
