Research interests:

In my current work, I try to improve to current crop growth models so they better account for plant response to high temperatures and soil water stress. My research focuses on the simulation of interactions between crop, soil and atmosphere and how these interactions are influenced by climate and crop and soil management. I am also interested in how to account for the diversity of crop and soil management found in smallholder systems when crop simulation models are applied at larger scales.
