European Space Agency promotes our research on land degradation in Central Asia

Our recent research results are published in the paper by Tüshaus J, Dubovyk O, Khamzina A, Menz G 2014 entitled ‘Comparison of Medium Spatial Resolution ENVISAT-MERIS and Terra-MODIS Time Series for Vegetation Decline Analysis: A Case Study in Central Asia’ are promoted by European Space Agency (ESA).

The uniqueness of this research is that for the first time a long-term medium spatial resolution time series from the ESA's satellite/sensor ENVISAT-MERIS (Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer) are used  over land environment for the applied remote sensing based analysis.
